VISA FEES
ATTENTION! On 25 December 2023, Federal Law No 646-ФЗ came into force suspending certain provisions of international agreements of the Russian Federation on the facilitation of the issuance of visas to the citizens of the European Union, Denmark, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Switzerland.
From December 25, 2023 reduced visa fees for citizens of the above-mentioned states are cancelled. The effective visa fees are as follows.

[1] Only available with an invitation issued by the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs or Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Visa application is made in person at the Consulate General upon prior appointment via website.
For remote application for a Russian visa or a local border traffic permit you may contact the Russian Visa Centre in Kirkenes (RVC AS) located at Dr. Palmstrøms vei 15, 9900 Kirkenes, Norge.
NB! Your travel medical insurance must cover:
- for single-entry and double-entry visas: the dates of the trip;
- for multiple-entry visas: no less than 90 days from the date of issue of the visa.
Please be advised that Norwegian insurance companies are required to provide additional written confirmation of insurance coverage on the territory of the Russian Federation ("effective worldwide" would not suffice). We further inform you of the possibility to obtain policies from insurance companies either in Russia or in third countries.
